Within the Tourist Office – itself located in the former stables – the interpretive space will take you back to the 18th century, thanks to:


- A scale model of the castle and the former gardens

- Many portraits

- Illustrated panels about the Royal Pleasures and the famous characters who left marks on Commercy over time

Visits and exhibitions

- The Castle as you've never seen it before: visit the medieval foundations in July and August


Live the entire story of the castle throughout centuries, discover the remains of the fortress of the Counts of Sarrebruck which are very well preserved…



The guided tour lasts one hour.



Individual price: €4 – free of charge for children up to 12 years ol.



Join us at 3 p.m. at the Tourist Office for the beginning of the tour, everyday in July and August; you can buy your ticket here.


Guided tours for groups take place all year round on request.

We have set up a free waymarked route throughout the town center that you can know more about the rich history and the monuments of Commercy.

The plan is freely available at the Tourist Office all year round.




- Temporary exhibitions in the Great Hall of the Castle



Many thematic exhibitions take place all year round and during summer in the former “Grand Salon” of the Castle, within the town hall.

Festival “L’été chez Stan”


Every summer, the festival “L’été chez Stan” brings the castle to life. On Saturday nights, you will attend concerts, dance shows and outdoor cinema screening… We will offer you different activities each year. There will be something for everyone!


A magical place…

St. Nicholas festivities


Every year for St. Nicholas, the castle comes to life.

Both the traditional market and parade take place in “Place du Fer à Cheval”, opposite the castle, make it a magical place for all ages.
