It is so nice to call a tree by its name! Come and discover the trees of our forest thanks to this path. Firs, maples and many other trees – more or less known… You will identify them thanks to the information provided alongside the tour. A botanical walk completes the arboretum; it will take you at the heart of the forest during 40 minutes, in order that you better understand the architecture of the forest and you discover our native species.
Located along the road of Chonville, this path enables both the young and older generation to keep in shape in a natural environment. 15 workshops which combine sport and relaxation are distributed over more than 1 mile, in the heart of the massif of Commercy.
It was created in the 16th century by monks, and deserted three centuries later. In 1995, the city and the National Forests Office refurbished it for ecological and touristic reasons.
A hiking trail map is available at the Tourist Office.
