"Maison des Truffes et de la Trufficulture" (House of Truffles)

In a former Lorraine farm – below a 7-hectare truffle field – the “Maison des Truffes” (House of Truffles) will make you discover the mysteries of the autumn truffles.

Possibility of group visits; the main guided tour includes a movie screening, a truffle tasting together with Meuse wine, a demonstration of “cavage” (how to find and unearth truffles) in the high season or a visit of the site in the low season. There is also a shop with truffle products.

The teams of “La Cloche Lorraine” and “La Boîte à Madeleine” will welcome you and give you many explanations about the madeleines. You will also attend demonstrations and taste this local specialty.

Clair de Lorraine

The “Clair de Lorraine” company has produced “perlés” – currant, raspberry mirabelle plum and honey wines – for more than 25 years! Would you like to discover the manufacturing techniques of our traditional “perlés”? During the tour which is both fun and technical, you will learn about the different production stages: bottling, capping, labeling, packing... won’t have any secrets for you anymore. Machines in operation! The machines will pass before your eyes from beginning to end of the bottling process, up to packing.

Educational farm “La clé des champs”

  Presentation of the farm and of its story.

- Initiatory visit in the orchard: investigation thanks to pictures for a botanical discovery of the garden fruits and tasting of jams around trees for food lovers – in case of good weather. If you come with children, a creative activity can be organized at the same time, with a rustic painting to take away.
- Tour throughout the transformation workshop with explanations about the manufacturing process.

The entire presentation lasts 2 hours.

Programme of two or three “Au fil des saisons” visits to allow children to discover the changing of the environment over time.
